About Optoma

 

Optoma is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our sales organization as an Education Consultant.   The right candidate will work with our sales team to deliver pre-sales presentations and develop long term post sales relationships with our customers to ensure the effective use of our display technologies in the classroom.

Job Description

• Provide pre-sales support for Optoma sales teams through presentations, demonstrations, and sales engagements.

• Help sales managers identify customer needs through solution-based selling techniques and demonstrate the full value of the Optoma suite of hardware and software products.

• Develop professional development content for Optoma customers and reseller/partners. 

• Provide post sales follow up and account management with key customers.

• Deliver professional development and support to Optoma customers and reseller partners.

• Develop long term relationships with key customers as a trusted education advisor.

  • Other job duties as required

Candidate Specification

• Extensive travel required

• 3 + years of teaching experience  in a classroom environment

• Classroom technology experience in both training and content/lesson development

• Results driven, well organized, flexible, and have strong follow-up skills

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage education customers through the use of technology solutions.

• Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present in front of large groups.

• Ability to present via teleconference technologies.

• Understanding of the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

• Able to understand selling process into education customer accounts.
